McCain aide: Palin going rogue
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (CNN) -- With 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and key aides to Sen. John McCain have become so intense, they are spilling out in public, sources say.
Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue."
A Palin associate, however, said the candidate is simply trying to "bust free" of what she believes was a damaging and mismanaged roll-out.
McCain sources say Palin has gone off-message several times, and they privately wonder whether the incidents were deliberate. They cited an instance in which she labeled robocalls -- recorded messages often used to attack a candidate's opponent -- "irritating" even as the campaign defended their use. Also, they pointed to her telling reporters she
disagreed with the campaign's decision to pull out of Michigan.
A second McCain source says she appears to be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.

Typical comeback by those who dislike Obama. Keep bringing up old issues that have no relevance to this election.
Care to actually discuss what a McCain aide just stated?

Typical comeback trying to sweep your "errors" under the carpet.

to be honest, this is probably bad for the campaign but it doesn't bother me. It was dumb of mccain to pull out of michigan and I feel better about her for not just saying she is ok with a bad decision.

Thank you for the response. You, Mike, Darren (OnePimpTiger) and a couple of others actually respond to the issues and try to maintain a healthy discussion. Props to you guys.
The article also points out she's looking towards 2012. I've heard this, but its been from the liberal media. What do you think?

no sweat. I know I get heated sometimes but I do try and address the issues.
I have heard the stuff about 2012. Not sure how I feel about that. I really dont have an issue with her as a VP. I think she has enough experience for that and provided a good balance to McCain. I would have to see her do something in the next 4 years for me to be okay with her as my candidate.

Her in 2012, she isn't going to be ready to run for President no way. Maybe in 8 years, but not in 4 years.

I'm not sure what this does to the campaign really. Yeah, it looks pretty bad when there are disagreements, but it shows that she is not just trying to shovel the same old crap down people's throats. There are necessary evils (obviously) in the world of politics and she's just saying what she thinks. I respect that.
