Obama Lays Plans to Kill Expectations After Election Victory

Confident in an Election Day win, the campaign looks to lower supporters' expectations on concerns their hopes of 'change' are unrealistic, a senior aide says

I think most rational people agree with this. We all know it will take a lot longer than 4 years to right what has been wronged in this country.

    whats your point?

i think his point is that Obama has run a campaign and will win an election based on that one word...change. He sold it to America when obviously he and his campaign know it is not feasible. If most Americans didn't think he was going to bring about major change, he wouldn't be winning this election. IMO.

Ok maybe some people will vote based on that word alone ... change ... but let me ask this, if McCain had used the word in his campaign do you think he would have won based solely on that word alone?? I don't think so, American's would probably still vote Dem. based loosely on the fact that all people see is that a Rep. President has run the show for 8 years and screwed things up (whether you agree or not) so royal that maybe it is time for a "change" ..... not so much a change in what may happen but a change in who/what runs the show.

Rubbish post if you ask me!! Honestly ...

Heaven forbid that he accomplish anything in his four years if he is elected. McCain supporters will be so disappointed that their doom and gloom prophecies didn't come true.

I did address it. I stated "accomplish anything." That entails any successes, no matter how small or how large. And those successes will result in change one way or another regardless of the time necessary to accomplish them. I believe I also stated in his four year term should he be elected.
