1954 Topps Henry Hank Aaron Rookie PSA 9

Only 20 of these 1954 Topps Henry Hank Aaron exist. Is it just me or do the edges look much worse than a PSA 9 should?

Ya know, in my eyes sometimes I think these cards from the 50's/60's in like 8's or 9's are trimmed. I think it's almost impossible that all these people have high graded Mantles and stuff. I would actually rather an old card graded in a 4, 5, or 6 then in an 8 or 9. That way the card would show signs of wear.
