More crap from UD

I wish they would stay away from NASCAR entirely. UD has never been overly concerned with authentication.

I wouldnt mind if they did some NASCAR if they did it right. THis card doesnt look good. I would rather them do it like the maxx buy back autographs

There was one that they had that someone sold on eaby about Dale. I sent Chris the link to it. Les was talking to the owner of the card about it. It was a legitamite UD card that he had pulled but I do agree. UD has no business using anything associated with NASCAR. They're not even using authentic autographs to put these cut cards together. They both have been TTM's. That's pathetic.

I disagree with one point, just because they are ttm doesnt mean they are not authentic. My guess is Upper deck made sure they were authenticated before they did this to them.
These are no different than the presidential cut autographs, they are just uglier

they aren't technically...they are getting around some licensing agreements..Press Pass is not real happy with them doing this...however with the poor choice of cards they are cutting up for the cuts...they really aren't doing themselves any favors...nothing worse than getting a cut auto that is a 1990 Maxx....or a McDonalds all star racing card....
I spoke with Press Pass in detail about keeping cut autos documents or cancelled checks...anything but previously released cards....and so far the only cut that has came out of 2008 Legends is a cancelled check...and it looks really good...I will have to get a scan of it in ...but not sure I want to run it for card of the month ...since there are 5 of them...I know a few members that I am getting some big time cards for and don't want to split the vote

this was originally part of a 5 card set that was given away at the National in 1994...
they killed a good looking card to make an ugly one...cut Sr's head off and there is they leave the woman that has ran DEI into near disaster on the card...show how little they understand collectors...
