Another One Bites the Dust....
A 63-year-old Grand Junction man has been arrested for possession of child pornography, authorities say.
Michael J. Morrow was taken into custody Tuesday without incident, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Colorado.
On Monday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents executed a warrant at Morrow's home and found numerous images of children engaging in sexually explicit acts on Morrow's computer, federal officials said in a press release.
Morrow told investigators he had about 13,000 images of child pornography, ranging in age from toddlers to teens, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
If convicted of possession of child pornography, the defendant faces up to 10 years in federal prison and up to a $250,000 fine.
Morrow is scheduled to appear in court today in Mesa County to be advised of charges against him.

"Using ICE's unique customs law enforcement authorities regarding any commodity that crosses state or international borders - including the Internet - ICE created its Operation Predator program. Operation Predator is a nationwide ICE initiative to protect children from sexual predators, including those who travel overseas for sex with minors, Internet child pornographers, criminal alien sex offenders, and child sex traffickers. Since Operation Predator was launched in July 2003, ICE agents have arrested more than 11,500 individuals, including 320 in Colorado."

I couldn't agree more with these statements...I am sick of these guys getting (IMO) a slap on the wrist. Then, when they are released, we the general public, aren't allowed to know???? We just had an incident in Alberta where a guy who sexually assaulted 6 girls in early 2000 and was released after only 6 years in prison. What happened?...He sexually assaulted 2 girls last month...one of which was drugged and kidnapped and dropped off at a resturaunt 100kms away!!!!
Being a father of an 18month old girl, I can't tell you how much these stories make me sick to my stomach...But I am sure any one who is a "Human" could understand.
