How close?
How close do you think it is going to be in the end? Do you think it will be a blowout as most suggest? Or do you think we will be up all night and still not know who won?
Stay on topic please. No Bashing of Obama or mcCain or anyone else here. Just give your 2 cents o nthe question at hand. Keep the peace

I think it will be somewhat close, like a 55-45% in one of the two's favor. I think in all states, it'll be a blowout, like in Michigan i am fairly sure that Barack will get it 65-35 or something like that, probably will be closer than this in other states, but i cant wait till this is over!

The popular vote will be close, probably at most a 5% spread.
The electoral vote on the other hand won't be too close. Obama should have a comfortable lead and be the clear winner before we all go to bed.

Iam thinking we are going to see a difference of about 1-3%, with the electorals being very very close.

Honestly I think it will be a blowout. Most polls use land lines for their information and a good chunk of the younger generation uses only cell phones these days and I believe the same people support Obama more so than McCain

Will it be close? Probably not in the end, but I doubt we'll have a clear winner by sleepy time ;-)

I think Obama will win comfortably, and the Republican Party will learn to nominate a Republican next time.

I think the whole problem Daniel is that by nominating Palin as VP (a "true" Republican - or conservative if you wish), it was the nail in the coffin for the McCain camp. He probably would have had a much better shot by nominating Rudy, Mitt, or some other middle-of-the-road candidate but the fact that he brought in Palin, while it did solidify the conservative base, ostracized him from having a legit shot at support from the mainstream independent voter.
