My kids received small unsigned pictures of Jason Veritek and David Ortiz as well as Lance Armstrong-type bracelets. There was a pocket calandar and a handwritten thank you note.

But seriously, I've sent at the beginning of the season & sometimes saw better fan packs sent later in the season. I guess it just depends if the team has their items yet or if they don't get them until later. I have received fan packs months after sending the requests.
