It is Bush's fault on a level that I have not heard yet. The personnel and authorities which he surrounded himself were his fathers and not his own. Poor plans and legislation was the only that could have possibly came out of that situation.

Unfortunately that's the way it works. It's just like Clinton getting credit for all the good he did when in fact he was the luckiest man in the world, just happened to be in the right place at the right time. When he left office we were at the beginning of a recession but Bush got blamed for that because he was president when it really got rolling. Just the way it works.

I agree 100%. I voted for Obama but am not a Dem. Nor did I just pull the Dem lever. Our governor in Indiana has done well and I voted republican for him. I also voted for anyone that I could that supported the Fair Tax no matter what their party affiliation. I feel the strict two party system does more hurt than harm. It creates a division that doesn't allow for things to get done. Sure we need people of different views, but we need more people that are willing to work together to solve some of our issues.
