    Sarah Palin's Road....

I am just curious as to other's perspectives on the path republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin will now follow. Exit polls in many areas found that independent or undecided voters were very turned off by her and her speeches. I am completely of the agreement that she strengthened and energized the core voters of the conservative republicans. However, I also feel that while McCain made more of an effort to minimize negative comments to the media, Palin did not.

Since a successful republican bid must include grabbing strong republicans as well as those less die-hard members as well as appealing to the fring votes (undecideds, independents, etc.), do YOU feel that she will move forward into becoming a new face for republicans, or was this a high-risk high-reward nomination that voters did not lean towards?

    Just curious.......

Hopefully she'll just crawl back into her burrow without seeing her shadow.

    real cute

Hopefully she'll just crawl back into her burrow without seeing her shadow.

i think she will move forward and become a new face for republicans. she wasnt brought in to attract the female voters because hillary wasnt chosen, she was appealing the most to young males across the nation. however, in the future, it think she will certainly take more initiative for her party! i loved her personally!

    high-risk high-reward

McCain took a huge chance and it didn't pan out. I think she'll return to relative obscurity and focus on being a governor.

Hopefully she'll continue on her "Bridge to Nowhere".

I really hope she doesn't turn into the new face for Republicans, I can name a handful who are much better than her and more deserving.

I hope she becomes the new face. She was a disaster and nothing more than a stunt. She can energize the core of the republican party all she wants, the fact is the core of the party is never what wins elections. If she runs in 2012 I don't think she will make it out of the primaries, and if she does, (And Barack does an adequate job) it will be a bigger landslide than this year.

Maybe she will be more prepared, however during the past month and a half she showed she wasn't ready to be VP.

I hope she disappears. I don't know what the Reps expected to happen with her. She won't even be 'ready' in another four years, or ever.

If Republicans regroup and restrategize, they should realize Ron Paul would be a great choice in 2012. He's the kind of candidate who would sway Dem votes for him.

If she plans on running for President or anything of that sort I don't think she stands a chance.

It depends on which way they go. If they pander to the christian right then she will be the perfect poster child but if they move more to the middle then there are far better candidates out there.

I think that the republican party will wake up and realize that you can have different views and not be set in your ways and will come back stronger for it.
