Need Some Help With My New Ipod Touch, Can Anyone Help?

I bought an ipod touch today and i still can't figure out how the internet connection works. Whenever i go to the safari or youtube icons on the main page of the ipod it says its not connected to the network. the same thing happens when i try to access itunes from my ipod. I know i need to get connected with the wifi network or something but i have no idea how to do it and i can't find anything on how to do it. if anyone can help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated, and any suggestions would be helpful. thanks!

Do you have a wifi network in your home?

If no, then you have to buy a wireless router to get a network going.

If yes, then go to setting apps. Click on wifi and there should be a list of available networks. Click on your network and you should be fine.

    Hope this helps!
