Your tax $$ at work.
This woman should be fired for preaching her politcal beliefs in a classroom.

I agree. This crap has no place in public education, except possibly a high school political science class.

hmm... I like that she was actually asking why each child said they would vote for their candidate, but she was pretty mean about asking them. She was a tad overbearing and it seemed to make the students feel like they were wrong for their opinion. That said, she should never let the kids no her true feelings on the matter. I had a college ethics professor that always said that we would never know his thoughts and beliefs as it could sway people from expressing their true beliefs in class.
I like the fact that the kids were getting into politics but she seemed to be using it completely wrong. She shouldn't call out the kids simply because most kids pick whomever their parents choose. She should have helped them become more informed on both sides.

Funny, I had a teacher in college who said something to the extent of "I will use my own opinion a lot in lectures because I am the teacher and I can."
He just threw it out there plan as that.
Weak.
Luckily he wasn't very smart so most of his rhetoric fell on deaf... or rather, uninterested ears.

It is not the topic of the class that day, it is the way she was asking those kids. It is good to know whta does little minds think.
