Question about Leaf Rookies N' Stars 2002

Just wondering what you guys think of these. I have about $50 to spend, and dacardworld.com has them for $26 + shipping.. Seems like a good value to me, or is there something better to get in the same price range?

I like these boxes, I bought one a while ago, here is the break..

24 Packs, 6 Cards/pack
Average of 1 GU or Autograph card per box, and 1 RC per pack

I'll start of with the rookies with BV's of $5 or more.

hey man, thanks for the info.. So the Emmitt was the Memorbillia cards ? You did get some sweet rookies, and yeah, I'm hoping for the Portis myself. Nice Shockey though, I dunno, it seems like a good value for only $26. I just ordered a Hobby Box of Pacific 2000 for $18, so I might get the Leaf box with the money I have leftover.

Hey, nope the Emmit smith card isn't a memorbilia card, I wish it was it would be worth a ton. The GU card I got wasnt to good, but it's still cool, it was this one, I forgot to list it..

It has 2 pieces of mask in it.

hey, that's pretty nice. I got a Leaf Certified Insert of him.. Well, right now it's a tossup between Leaf Rookies N' Stars for $26 or 2 boxes of 2000 Collector's Edge Odyssey for $23.. What do you think?

It really up to you, I'd go with the Leaf R&S because in my opinion I think that the 2002 Rookie class is much better than the 2000 rookie class. The Tom Brady in 2000 is a great RC I think, but I'd much rather have a RC of portis, or a lot of other people in 2002 than Brady, but thats just me. I dont really know a lot about cards, In only 15 but from what I do know I would rather have the 2002 Leaf R&S's...

Let me know what ya get, if ya get 2 portis's, I want one!

It's a tough choice man.. There are some awesome RC's in 2000, but also in 2002. I'm sure if we had a poll, it'd be right down the middle.. I still haven't made up my mind, lol..

2000 has: T. Brady, J. Lewis, J. Delhomme, B. Urlacher, S. Alexander, C. Pennington, M. Bulger, P. Burress, J. Porter

2002 has: C. Portis, D. Carr, J. Harrington, D. Stallworth, J. Peppers

Don't know, but personally I like 2000 better, but the Leaf box is still very tempting!! I will make up my mind soon, and I'll let ya know.

I'm in the process of making the set and I've bought probably six boxes and have pulled some nice stuff.

Harrington Mask
Carr Mask
Barlow auto /30
Stallworth auto
Reche Caldwell 3 Color Jersey
Numerous Jerseys
and some cool inserts...longevities /50 stuff like that. That's not mentioning the shortprinted rookies. I have two boxes on order right now.
At an average of 30 a box definitely worth it...and when I get this stinking set done, it'll be worth it.

I recommend good stuff!!
