Scott Kazmir Needed
I need a Scott Kazmir card, preferably the Draft Day Gems card but most any non-autographed issue card will do. I'll buy if necessary. Please PM me with what you have and what you're asking, thanks.

I doubt I'll have anything you're looking for in the near future. Would you like to sell one? If so, how much? Thanks.

it wouldn't be worth it to sell them...they don't really book that high. i'd rather trade in order to maximize their value. thanks anyways!

I can certainly understand that. It's tough to be a card magnate these days, knowing precisely when to maximize that extra $1.50 in card value through trade or to take the cash and put that venture capital into a promising new investment.
:)
Hey Yanksguy! Nah, I don't really trade my autos usually. Funny story though, last year on another site I posted a thread like this and a guy named halonut gave me the run around for three days about a Kazmir card. It's just so ironic... don't ya think? ;)

Oh hey on the 03 Premieres. I have 6 out of 7 back already. The jury is still out on whether Delmon Young is going to sign, I'm leaning towards probably not. So far I got Mitch Maier, David Aardsma, Shane Costa, Aaron Hill, Michael Aubrey, and Tim Stauffer. The only one I have out is Brad Sullivan who was great last year but hasn't sent anything back this year from what I can tell. I know Lubanski is a great signer so he's one to try. I'm not sure if Matt Moses is in there, but he seems to be a guy to look for from what I read, same with Ryan Sweeney with the Sox. I'll be sending out for that set once the Minor League season starts like on April 5-7 or something like that. It should be interesting, this year's set is a lot better than last year's IMHO.

And I know you just said no tradeing, but I have a lot of acceses to Anthony Gwynn stuff since he did a show around the corner of the house and I got him three times and then once at ST and they still got a stack of leftover 8x10's they got him to sign there so I can hook you up with one of those for trade.... Also any word on how these guys are going to be
Khalil Greene
Josh Barfield
Jesse Forpert
Chin-Feng Chen
Chien-Ming Wang
Royce Ring
Rickie Weeks
and you said Lubanksi is tight?
Also when can I find out were I can send to the stack of cards to the minor league players?

I think I'm going to try Gwynn TTM first, I have a few BDP and the Premieres to get signed. Thanks for the offer though.
Greene was fantastic last year but I haven't even seen one from him yet this year. He might just wait to catch up once the season's started. Usually those young guys who start out as great signers don't just stop all of a sudden. They're just not as consistent and they take longer and then they kind of stop eventually. Kind of like how Blalock or Roy Oswalt have done. I have a request out to Greene so we'll see I guess.
Barfield is not so good anymore, he was awesome his first season in the minors but he's gotten a lot worse. I still have a request out to him but I'm not holding my breath on that one too much.
Foppert is just coming off Tommy John surgery I think and he's been an excellent signer until now. Not really sure how he'll sign since he's kind of fallen off the radar a little bit.
Chin-Feng Chen is pretty tough. I got him a while back when he seemed to all of a sudden start signing for everyone but he's pretty tough. Haven't seen too many with him since then.
Chien-Ming Wang seems pretty good right now. Of course he's a Yankee so you know how that goes. Royce Ring I have no idea, I think he's okay. Rickie Weeks I know signed while he was at Southern but I haven't seen a single one with him since he signed and I sent him a request last year but no dice. I'll probably try him again when the season starts.
Lubanski's a good signer and a pretty good prospect from what I read. Connor Jackson is probably another good signing prospect. Another guy is Ian Stewart but I don't think he's quite the signer that the other two are, well he never responded to me last year. For addresses you can just go to Minor League Baseball.com. They're usually pretty accurate on their addresses.
Damn, I can't wait for the season!Last edited by Chris; 03-29-2004 at 02:11 AM.
