Non-Christians: what document would you swear into office on?
If you were to be elected to public office (president, senator, congressperson, etc), what book/document would you put your hand on while taking the oath of office?
I'd have to go with The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, if they'd let me get away with it. In all seriousness though, probably a copy of the US Constitution, since that would be the very document I would be swearing to uphold and defend. I don't see why they don't do that already.

I'd swear on a T206 Honus Wagner or a 52' Topps Mickey Mantel. If I wasn't able to, I would go constitution also.

Constitution seems like the logical choice.

good question. I don't really have a book that I live by nor do I read books all that much. I guess that I would have to go with the book I'm reading now, The Fair Tax, as I hope it some day is adopted into action.
edit: constitution is a very good idea or my 1985 Donruss Eric Davis rookie card.

Careful...who knows what you would have sworn to by the time it's been edited!

It'd have to be the bible. Otherwise I'm a terrorist, right?
