would have to agree on David Robinson, esp. after seeing ESPN do those features on him helping out the elementary school kids with his own money in establishing a school for them
he's donated about $9M, and counting.

Man D-Rob is so fun to watch because of the enthusiasm that he brings...it would have been fitting for him to get MVP and sad to see him go.

A little sidenote... while watching the game, one of my best friends got pissed off. He said San Antonio didn't have any real black men. I was like ™™™ are you talking about? He then said well Tim Duncan doesn't count cause he's a fake black man from the Virgin Islands and David Robinson is softer than a marshmellow so neither of them count as black men. I started laughing like crazy then... funny stuff, guess you had to be there.

Not real black man?? Well then I guess I'm not a real white man....I'm really, really white.
But anyways, David Robinson, regardless of color, is what you call a real, true man. he has remained a great father throughout his career. He has always been there for his fans. He started up an organization (with his own money) to help under privileged kids, and he didn't just give them the money, he gave them himself and his time. He helped them and watched them grow.
David Robinson= Real Man*
*-and black nontheless.

the subject of Duncan / Robinson not being real black men -- very stupid.
Let's drop it before this thread becomes racially incited.
If people are gonna call other people with insults, do it to their face.

Damn, people are all anal about things... it's a joke. It's a conversation that's so stupid it's funny. I'm sure Ryan felt me on this tip.

well to me that makes him a real man, not black nor white or whatever you should take care of your family and give back the riches you have gained...
IMO, being black I don't know exactly what a real white man or real black man should be like, but for all the people I have been around wealthy blacks and whites, they sure do act funny...that is why I don't like neither one of them...
And bgray, yes that was the most unemotional series I have ever seen, I had to stop watching it, no excitement...
tim duncan and the freaking mr robinson(who btw has had the same haircut since he was drafted, I bet if you looked at his rookies it will have the same lousy haircut) I dislike both of them...

and yes even though I wasn't there with you guys we had the same conversation in our house during last nights game. I wonder how many black households had the same conversation...
don't worry it is something that alot of people can't and don't understand...trust me

you see, it ain't got nothing to do with being anal.
It's all about living in a litigious society, where the most innocent remarks can get you shot at if you're in the wrong neighborhood.
Or, if you live in a rich neighborhood, you end up in courts
