08/09 RC's Auto's--Too many?
With neither Topps or UD having an exclusive deal with this years RC's doesn't it seem like the market is already flooded with rc autos?
The season isn't even a month old.
Thoughts?

It could cause a flood of autos, and also the many different parallel versions also causes that. I didn't realize none of the rookies from this year were signed to either company.

Yea seriously, those Treasury refractor autos of star rookies are going for like 10 dlvd. Imagine how low the Finest RC autos will go...Derrick Rose for 12$ dlvd anyone?

Maybe if the manufacturers see how devalued their products have become, they'll stop making so damn many.

LOL, for me as a buyer, not a seller, it actually benefits me. Of course, it does kind of does degrade the purpose of having an investment of someone, but it's still pretty beneficial. When I DO rip products, and I try to sell some of the cards to pay for the box, it does piss me off when the best one goes for like 10 bucks...

the market really is flooded with rc autos this year.....this is why i find it weird that a regular derrick rose treasury is still selling between 60-80....kind of a bad investment i think.....they will be going for about 40 bucks i think in a few months

i think it has to do with too many products out there more than anything. As collectors, we want to get a certain amount of hits per box and since every product has every player, there are more autos of everyone going around. I guess i am kind of lucky though because the player i collect doesnt have like 30 cards in every product like rose and beasly do.
