lol actually those cards are Yellow your eye's dont decieve you! i honestly dont know why there yellow but they came out of 89 hoops box like that

They're yellow because they are the Superstars box set cards. They were primarily issued through Sears, and contained 100 cards with identical pictures to the base cards, but with yellow borders instead of white and with different numbers on the back.
I'm going to pull out one of my big guns for this theme week a bit later.
