    scanning help

Hi this isnt a post to show off my new stuff yet but its a question to all those who scan their cards. I just bought a new all in one scanner printer blah blah. Its a epson nx400 and When i scan photos its picture perfect but im having a problem with xfactor. When i scan them the hologram reflective parts show washed out or with different colors all over and it make the cards image look like theres ink all over them. What do you do to scan xfactors ? thankyou

Actually now that I resized it , it looks better . I actually figured out my problem ,i think I was positioning it in the wronf corner of the scanner and to far over by the edge making the scan look bugged out
