Some fun ideas there. I still collect sets - but I admit, when I buy a pack of cards for trade bait and am not collecting the set, base isn't very exciting. And for some sets, like 2002-03 Fleer Box Score basketball (grrr), apparently people threw away the base en masse, making some very difficult to find.

I love the ideas. This would make it more interesting for sure for people to collect more base stuff.

Personally, I will collect base cards. I will do base trading for any Red Sox that anyone has. I just collect anything of the Boston Sports teams. Obviously I like to get the Autos or GU, but I will also trade for base stuff as well.

I unfortunately can no longer afford to trade outside of the US. Even Canada rates are way too high!

I don;t particularly like some of their ideas but as a set collector i do appreciate good looking base cards. In fact, i dont buy boxes of a set unless i like and plan to collect the base cards because i cant justify paying that much money just for a couple hits. Maybe they can do some kind of reward program for collecting a complete base set. Im not sure how they'd implement this but i guess it would have to be some kind of code on individual cards that can be submitted only once
