well this is his 5th game with a shooting percentage under 40%. That is half of his games this season. So he is inconsistent this year.

yes he seems to be just a little off to me all season... his minutes have been down and hasnt needed to be the nromal Kobe so far. They have been blwoing teams out and hes only getting 33 minutes a game.

He is the best player in the world and should shoot the ball. Lebron, wade and dirk all have taken more shots per game then kobe this season.. i wouldnt say kobe is shooting too much at all. under 20 shots per game.

if you think he is shooting too much thats fine... he shooting too much in your opinion is bringing wins to his team in the end anyways which is what matters

I guess not many people saw many games of kobe.
Yes, he is struggling with his shots because he is not playing 40 minutes per game.
He might be off for 3 quarters but he always brings up his FG% by going inside 4th quarter.
If you watched this game, you cannot say kobe shot way too many. He is definitely not ball-hogging this year and absolutely has no need for it because he has a lot of good players around him.
If you just look at the stat sheets and say OMG he took 23 shots and made only 8!
That's not the correct way to say about his game.
And most important of all, regardless of kobe's off night or on night or w/e,
They have the best record in NBA.

I have watched every laker game this year and my take on Kobe is that he has a horrible shot selection and is forcing to many shots. He is not being selfish I agree I just don't like the idea he is getting doubled and he tries to take the shot. The Lakers are playing great ball. I would just like to see kobe move the ball if there is not a shot.

You mentioned Kobe taking shots when double teamed....
I've seen way too many times when he was double teamed with shot clocks inside 5 and he had to take shots.
Also, I've seen way too many times when he was double teamed and he makes a lob pass to Bynum or Gasol.
Every great players are capable of making shots when they are double teamed and I've seen kobe doing that way too many times too.
You are right. Taking a shot when double teamed is not the best option, but there are instances when they are. I agree that kobe's shot selections are questionable sometimes, but not all the time. And that much mistakes are definitely allowable as a lot of other superstars have questionable shot selections too.
I think someone brought up Lebron's questionable long range jumpers the other day. Yea, everyone can question players' shot selections etc.
But I do believe Kobe makes the best decision most of the times and blaming him for those minority mistakes are not correct.
I guess if you do not like the player you are watching, you tend to pick up on their mistakes than being amazed by their awesome plays.
