Anybody remember the season that led to this Chase crap? The only time the points leader "points raced was the last 3 races, and even then he was near the front .

There has been more "lay back and just get to the points position I need" since the Chase started than I had ever seen in NASCAR since I began watching PE (Pre Earnhardt).

Does anyone here remember RACING? Get to the track, set up the car, practice, qualify for the race(not just what pit stall you can get), practice again to set up for the race, and then "Go hell bent for leather to win"

Why is it when they hand the big name , big dollar teams gimmees, they call it "in the interest of safety" or we're trying to save the teams money? B#*%crap, if they want to save the teams money, fine do what they are now doing...Ban testing, period. Any team that goes to any track with a Sprint Cup car, impound the car for the year, and the next track that that team runs on that is similar to the track tested at, they start at the back. Level playing field, testing -wise, can't really do much about what equipment they have at the shops.

I understand that tire tests are needed (see Indianapolis this year) Fine, take 2 teams from each manufacturer, but instead of the top teams take the lowest level teams... the ones that are going to report what is good for everybody, and not hold back what is good for "MY' owner, or better yet get the guys that used to work for IROC to do the testing..... fair and impartial across the board.

And that is another point.......Bring back IROC, put all the drivers in equally prepared cars and let them race. Where would the top teams drivers be then? Probably bowing out :'("):

How about this we do a race where the drivers have to get out and make the adjustments..... they drive the cars in practice and then get 1/2 hour to work on the car making what ever adjustments they deem necessary, and then send them out for another 1 hr practice , but noone can touch the car (other than the driver) before qualifying.

Dump the top 35 rule, it's only a way for owners to ensure that they get who they want in the races they want anyway.

Rookies.. If you haven't run a season in ARCA.... no Truck series, If you haven't run a season in Truck.... No Nationwide, No Nationwide ...No Sprint.

Set the age limit to 16 entry into ARCA. So that way you can be in Nationwide at 18.

Open wheelers, well they can get a break and go to either Truck or ARCA. Provision being must run at least 5 races in any series before moving up, and can go from either ARCA or Truck to Nationwide, can not run any type of track (i.e. road course, flat track, Superspeedway, short Track) in a higher level that has not been run in lower level(s).

I might be completely off the wall with these suggestions, because I am going against everything that the "BIG 3" Owners and Mr. France are trying to accomplish, but I am a RACE fan, not a fan of what they are force feeding us as racing.

BRING BACK THE RACING, PERIOD END OF STORY.

If anyone that is watching now, doesn't stay after we get real racing back, they were never a "REAL" fan, just a band wagon jumper that wanted to "GET IN ON WHAT IS COOL NOW"
