Wow, this is susprising to me despite their record. They had just re-signed him a couple of months ago citing his great work with getting the Wizards to the playoffs. ouch.

I have to disagree with this. They have injuries. No Arenas and no Haywood. If anything, upper management should take some of the blame for dishing out over 100 million for Arenas. Wizards could have brought in some nice role players to compliment Jamison and Butler.

I totally agree with you. Injuries have hurt them, and then they signed Arenas, who hasn't been healthy for years, to a huge contract. Dumb move on the part of management. They should've gotten better FA's that would fit the system better, and can build around Butler and Jamison

I hate when teams fired coaches. If the players are injured and not doing their jobe they should not be blame. you have to b=lame the management on it. This reminds me of the Yankees and Joe Torre

This isnt Jordan's fault, the team is just hurt from injuries and someone had to go so the GM fired Jordan. like said before blame management for not totally making sure Arenas was 100% and for paying him the type of money they did

Wow. Jordan led the Wizards to the playoffs like the last four years! The bad start isn't his fault! Half the team has been out or not playing %100.

Eddie Jordan might be a great candidate to coach OKC next year. Thunder have lots of young talent and two first round picks in 09.
