Got Outbid on eBay again...Nice NBA Finals Patch
I just thought this was a pretty nice and rare NBA Finals Patch from John Stockton's Warm Up Uniform in 97 -98. lost by a couple of cents...

I hate it when you loose a card by a few cents or if you drive up the bid a little and decide to come back to it closer to the close of the auction, but something happens and you get to see it after the auctions closed and the other guy won for what you stopped the bid at. Guess we all learn that lesson the hard way.

If it makes you feel better I'd say there's a really good chance that card has been tampered with.
I think the fact it sold that low pretty much indicates most bidders thought that way too. It's tough to trust any fleer cards from that time, because there are so many fakes, and so many cards that were liquidated and had "patches" put in after the fact so that's espesially the case with something like that since it's numbered so high, and at the time most of the "patch" cards were labeled as such

ahhh thanks for a nice shine of light on the situation rym, I always wonder how these companies are able to make so many jersey/patch/auto cards every year and should we even really trust the companies to deliver authentic items on a daily basis.....?
