    Kobe misses a milestone

Bryant came 15 points shy of reaching the 22,000-point mark faster than any other player. Had he done it, he would have beaten Wilt Chamberlain to that total by one day, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. Bryant was the fastest to 12,000 and every level up to 20,000. The two-time scoring champion and 10-time All-Star was the second-fastest to 21,000.

Too bad, but I'll rather have the Lakers win big so Kobe could rest in the 4th then have Kobe play extra minutes just to break a meaningless scoring record.

Well, he'll be in 2nd place by a day or 2 - and whether he broke the record or not, Lebron would more than likely surpass it in 4-5 years.

Very impressive though! 22,000 points in 12 seasons!

I think its obvious that James will be breaking that record soon, he's been breaking all the records for point totals
