    After inspecting the patch some more, it looks like it's from the bottom portion of the letter "E" in Lakers, since the weight of the bottom portion is thiner then the weight on the left portion of the patch.

    I would recommend that card to grade as BGS Authenticated (Blue Label) like below.

    Thanks for the comment and suggestion. Yeah, I might wait a long while before I decide to put it in a BGS Authenticated case (at least until I know for sure that I’m going to keep this card forever in my pc), for now though, I plan on putting it in a thick four screw down case.

    Very true, but my avatar reflects the two main things I collect, Kobe Bryant cards, and 98-99 JERSEY cards. Since I do not plan to collect any other PATCH variations of these jersey cards, I think I will leave my avatar as the regular jersey of this card. Thanks for the comment and suggestion.
