Trade Manager Upgrade This Week
Based on user feedback and SCF staff inputs we are upgrading the Trade Manager this week. This should significantly improve the Trade Manager, inventory and Feedback Systems
Here are some of the changes you will see:
- Ability to use a combination of the new and old trade manager. Basically, using the inventory system and the free-text version together.
- Additional Feedback Ratings (1-5 Stars) for 1) packaging, 2) shipping 3) communication and 4) overall
- Ability to sort trades buy date and partner
- "Must Send First" notice removed at 20 trades vice 21 (known bug)
- Printable version of each trade. Will make it easy for those that print and archive
- An easier way to sort your trades by 30 days, 60 days and all time
- Over-riding the "Must Send First" requirement for transferred feedback
- After a trade is confirmed, a trade can go into the trade and mark "Shipped" and put the date. A PM is sent to the other member stating, "(SCF Member ID) has shipped your package regarding this trade: (Trade Link)
- When a member clicks "Dispute" it pops up a window stating, "Are you Sure you want to put this trade on dispute?". Takes away the mistaken disputes that happen a lot! (DONE)
- Sort old trades by other traders name. Makes it easy to find/reference old traders.
- Disallowing Feedback for cardcash and online transactions (DONE)
- A "Reminder PM" will be sent out every 10 days to people that have not left feedback for a trade. This should improve feedback numbers. I call it the "nag" effect. :)
- PM sent out to members when trade is not completed every 30 days. For example, people may both confirm to a deal, but members may not actually mark the trade complete. A PM should be sent out every 30 days to remind members to confirm the trade is complete

Thumbs down on the 'nag effect' here... no big deal, but what's the point?

boo on the nag effect- I get enough PMs already, that is a bit ridiculous. if i forget feedback, the trader usually sends me a polite PM reminding me, and i do the same thing if I am not left feedback- I dont see any reason to send more automated PMs, its just not necessary
