Rajon Rondo: triple double with 10:53 remaining in 3rd

Rajon Rondo got a triple double early in the second half! I am watching a bit of the Boston game tonight on League Pass.

what stats is it in? im assuming points/assists/rebounds. But is he close to a quadruple double at all? That would be unprecedented for a pg!

Anyone that doubts he should be in the AS game should just look at his stat line last night. And anyone that didn't think he'd get any better is nuts - he has 3 allstars and 2 for sure HOFers on the same team he is on! Why wouldn't you get better?

I've always liked Rondo, i don't know why a lot of people bad mouth him. Sure he may not be the best shooter, but the guy does the little things that count, and he is a tough rebounder and good passer

That's what I don't get - he's a great shooter with a great shot selection. He is among the league leaders in FG% among PGs. Maybe he doesn't have the FG% of a 7-foot center, but what PG does?

I think he might mean from the three-point line, where Rondo shoots under 30%. But since he is over 50% from the field overall, he is definitely good at taking it to the bucket and probably a better jump shooter than credited.
