    Silly question.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea how many cards would be in a pound. There is someone on craigslist, selling cards by the pound, and I wanted a general idea of about how many cards that would be. Any thoughts?

    Have a scale? :-)
Look for 5000 count boxes on eBay. The weight might be listed in the shipping calculator.
I'm always looking to trade cards for original Nintendo (NES) games. Always looking for 86-87 Fleer basketball - even commons - the more, the better :) Also, when sending cards out, please make certain the cards are well-protected and well-packaged.

Fill a box with cards, grab a can of corn, hold one in each hand. Gives you a rough estimate anyway!

I just sold a box of 3000+ cards on ebay. It weights 15 lbs. Sooooo a pound is only about 200 cards.

That sounds right. My original post was 23 LBS for a 5000-count box, but I edited it because I second-guessed myself and didn't want to be incorrect.
