    Common courtesy question....

    Here's what happened....

I reply on a thread about a card I can use and ask him to CMB and LMK if he likes anything.

The original poster says to me "PM me."

I ask why, and then again ask what he likes of mine.

He says AGAIN to PM me.

So I send him a PM asking him why I have to PM you when I've already asked now THREE times what he likes.

He gets all mad because I told him that it's ridiculous to ask him three times what he likes, and then he says that I can't follow directions, because I didn't PM him the first time he asked.

Am I in the wrong here, or is the other member just EXTREMELY LAZY?!

Yeah, you did nothing wrong. After the first confusion, he should've PMed you, instead of going back and forth like that! He was just being lazy and rude (there's a lot of those traders on here!)

    Happy Trading!!

It may be that he just doesn't want the discussion out in the open... but he could have just PMed you as well.

it goes either way...you should have just pmed him in the first place though

sometimes when you are making trades, its hard to keep track of all the threads ... it really shouldnt have been made into such a big deal from either of you

thats just odd. he should have pmed you first saying what he wanted or why he would rather talk on pms then on the open forum.

i dont get if its his thread, why he doesnt just pm you? obviously he is lazy, or he's clueless, either one of those is the reason most likely.

i dont get why people want you to pm them, only to then say, didnt see anything i like. why not post on the thread that instead of making you waste time????

The other member was at fault. Even if he did want you to PM him he should've PMed you instead of you having to PM him.

Well to tell you the truth I get tired having people say CMB for several reasons.

    1) I check their buckets and they are asking for me to look for stuff when they have nothing comparative to trade with me BV for BV. Why make me waste my time and then ask me to trade down. Most people won't trade down with me so why ask me to do it.

    2) I will take time to check a bucket and the cards are out of date. I know I don't show my bucket for this very reason I as take tons of photo's of stuff that are not mine. As I use my bucket for various write up, product releases, etc. so I inquire to what they like. Of course as you say they should know what they want and respond in the thread or pm to you on that front.

I just hate when they come back and tell you the card is traded. Why waste my time with checking your bucket when it not up to date. I only asked about one or two cards and they are both gone. Take them Down.

    3) Why does he get labeled? He put up a list of traders and you are the one who just telling him to CHECK his bucket. Why can't you pm him as he asked?

The best thing to do is when you get irritated to avoid it. Just move on and don't bother pming the person as you said the 3rd time. If he wouldn't answer your question on what he collects then say Thanks and move on. Enjoy all the good traders and stuff you pick up and avoid the little incidences like this. Best of luck and sometimes it just good to rant but remember there always two sides to every story.
