    Celtics vs Blazers Tonight

I am watching right now and it is 14 to 11 blazers. Greg "God" (how he autos lol) Oden just got a Technical called on him for hanging on the rim maybe 2 seconds after a dunk. As a ref, IMO, I don't call that. What does everyone think?

    GO CELTICS!!

I'd have to see the dunk/hanging, but if it was to catch his balance so he didn't fall, or fall on someone else, then no foul should've been called. But, if he was intentionally hanging there, then they would call it - not sure why, but that is one of the new rules....what harm does it do hanging from the rim for 3 seconds or whatever? Maybe "delay of game" or something like that?

if they just started that rule this year then Shaq is lucky. He use to hang on the rim bad back in his LA and Miami days.

They had that rule back in 1993 when I saw a Hawks game live, and Kevin Willis hung on the rim too long. I did see Greg's dunk though and it's a tough judgment call - I wouldn't have whistled him for it myself, but no one was under him and he did swing a little bit, which they don't tolerate much.

I watched a little of the game at the Y. Celtics made a run late in the second quarter.

the refs were killin the blazers in the first half, rediculously favoring the celtics. we'll see how this second half goes, shots will not drop for the blazers, celtics up 56-37

After being an insanely close 1st quarter, the Celtics have started to pull away - 20+ point lead!

well that didn't take long, the refs are still making rediculous calls, perkins pulled it off the rim and no call, but the blazers spend 2.8 seconds in the key and get 3 technicals for it

I was at the game. Oden was trying to show Perk up. He hung on for awhile, just taunting.
