I'm sorry Nathan, but Garnett completely went about that the wrong way. You can get the team syked, or even yell at them, but dragging Glen around like a child was uncalled for. Everyone keep in mind that I really like Garnett too before you bash me lol.

I think Garnett is too intense for his own good sometimes. Yes being a leader/motivator does mean you have to correct, scold, yell or do whatever to your team. At the same time though, you still have to do so in a respectful manner. That's how you earn respect from people under you, not by embarassing or humiliating them. Glen Davis is a grown man and at no point do you just yank at a grown man like a kid. Imagine you being in Davis' shoes, would you ever in your life accept someone, even your boss, yanking you around like that unless it's out of the way of a speeding bus.

I don't know about Davis' tears though, they may or may not be necessary... but at least he's fired up and emotional about the game, which is not a bad thing.

I didn't see the vid, so I don't know the entire extent of it. But, if Glen Davis is not able to take the pressure/intensity of the game, then someone needs to get up in his face and make him realize this isn't basketball at the park where you can give up leads without much happening. If you want to win, you have to be able to have thicker skin too, cuz you are going to have alot of trash said to you.

"I believe Garnett told Davis to stop eating so many doritos"

I saw that quote at the bottom of the article. LOL
