Question about cards in general
I bought some 08-09 SPx today. I bought 4 packs and pulled a dual patch /25. How do you add up the colors? Both patches have grey/white/black, is that 6 color, or 3?

Scan didn't come out as good as I wanted it to. You can't really tell the 12/25 part.

Its 3 on Ginobili, there is a thin strip of Grey showing, hard to tell by that scan, thats why I said the scan didn't turn out as good as I had hoped. It's very easily visable when looking at the card in person.

What that would be considered by most is 3 color(grey, black, white) , and 6 color breaks(i.e. when the card's jersey swatch changes from one color to another). Hope I could be of some help.

There are two terms that describe patches.
1. Color.
You would not add up the colors. Just say there is 3 colors on both patch.
2. Breaks/Logo
You count the amount of breaks there are. The Duncan has 3 breaks. In bigger patches, you'd say it's part of the letter/number from the jersey, or you could say it is the logo of them from the jersey if you can tell.
