Is there a way to put the "new posts" link back on only?
It used to be 10 pages and then it was dropped down to 5 pages, due to overloads or something.
It's easier to navigate through the entire forum, instead of going to each individual subforum forum and then that forums subforums.
    Please LMK,
    Thank you.

Looks like the increase in users here after Becketts fall out may have caused some bandwidth issues. Might need to increase the services for the site, which I know first hand is expensive.

From my point of view, since I use to run a vbullentin forum for a number of years, Ebay auctions profile and user albums could be taking up quite a bit of space. Maybe just limiting the number of photos in the albums could help, or completely turning it off. Which will put some of your PHP skills to the test.

Now depending on how much the arcade gets used, might be another option. Its great to have the arcade and all, but for the sake of this great site to keep running, it might be another viable option.

Hey leave the arcade alone, I lke it in there

    Here's the search issue....

Say you are running a search and it drags a little...most people hit refresh...well, the server sees that as two connections until the refresh is complete. Now, say it still doesn't load as fast as you want, then it becomes three connections. Each refresh slows things down, no matter how fast/large the server.

Many times, we have numerous people doing a search and it doesn't run as fast as they wish on top of Spider searches such as Yahoo and Google that weight down on the server with multiple searches. Any time you look at Who's Online, check out the number of Guests. For the most part, 75% of those "guests" are search spiders. There are times when he server sees 100s of searches going on at once. If that's going on while the database is being rebuilt, it causes a huge lag and leads to site/database crashes.

This move is temporary will the upgrade is in place and should be cleared up soon enough. A small inconvenience to give you all a better site...

What is better? SCF without search or no SCF? :) I hope the answer is obvious.
