    Pretty neat stories

ok say my uncle works with joe thomas's dad in brookfield. We were having breakfast with my uncle and he said that joe will be in town a ton in december. So that immeadiatley made me ask if Me and Vince could meet him. SO my uncle said that we will be able to meet joe in the winter and maybe go ice fishing with him and get our 16x20s and posters signed of him. I am so excited about it.

    ANother story

I was chatting with a minor leauer in the DR and he said he is learning english now . I started talking to him about my lil business making cookies. And he said " Ill give you my autographs on anything you want if you could send me some cookies" So now me and vince are gonna be sending him ssome cookies with some stuff to be signed.

    Just thought id share

I think we should all post our good stories:

My grandparents owned a small little cafe in southern MN, I learned a quite a few years ago that former Major Leaguer Mike Kingery used to eat there as a kid, so we went to TwinsFest and my mom pointed out a sign that said something about Mike Kingery being there. The guy standing behind the booth wasn't him but said he would be there. I finally met one of my heros. I went up to him and asked him "Do you remember when my grandparents gave you cookies?" lol I was young. Since then, I have met him once again, and even got him TTM.

    Another:

My grandpa knows the mother of former Red Sox ROY (not AL ROY) Dana Kiecker. He mentioned to her that I liked baseball/cards and she handed him a signed RC of him for me. My sister bent it in half but it is still a nice card. I met him once and actually "saw" (IDK if I actually did or not but I looked into the booth at the Saints game where he announces for and I say I did) last week. I own a few auto'd cards of him.
I am interested in Glen Perkins and Glen Perkins ONLY

I understand if you do not want to trade because of my (-1) rating, but I will do my best to get everything out on time.

    Really cool,
My uncle's uncle ( I have no idea what that is referred to) lived next to Pedro Martinez when he played in Boston. So for my brother's birthday, he asked him for an autograph. We ended up getting: 4 autographed Pedro cards, 2 ROMLBs signed, and 2 autographs from his brother Ramon. Nice guy, wish he could have stayed in Boston.

About 5 summers ago my friends and I would go bowling every Monday night at 10pm at the same place. One day we show up and this guy in the lane next to us goes, "Did you see LeBron when you came in?" We were all like, "What the hell are you talking about?" And he says, "Look down there." Sure enough, 4 lanes down from us LeBron James is bowling with some friends. I called home to have someone bring my LeBron jersey to the bowling alley and my mom showed up with it about 20 minutes later. Ater he was done bowling LeBron signed for just about everyone who was at the bowling alley that night. I live in Akron so it wasn't too shocking to see him out, but it doesn't happen every day.

Thanks. It's an authentic. I have the whole set from UD, too. The guy who owns my local card shop gave me the extra big ones he had after he opened the sets to sell the single cards for a buck a piece back when they came out.

Did you get to meet Magic somewhere? I'd really like to get him. I almost drove to the Dick Vitale Gala last month to try and get him, but decided not to risk the potential failure of a long night. I have heard he is really nice.
