    Windows Movie Maker

How do I change a Windows Movie Maker file into a file that can be played in Windows Meda Player or put onto a DVD?

I've never done anything with the movie maker but wanted to make my grandpa a dvd of his surprise party and finally figured out how to edit my videos. lol Now I just need to change the file and I'm not having any luck!!

Okay Ashley I've had experience, here is what you do.

After you have created the movie that you want created, you need to go up to File, and Publish Movie. From there it will walk you through. You can publish it onto the computer, onto a CD, in an email, or onto a digital camera. Just go through the steps and it should be self-explanatory. Choose where you want it saved, do the recommended settings and click publish and you're good to go! From there you can watch it in Windows Media Player and burn it onto a disk.

Hahah yeah it's a tricky program to use at first but once you get the hang of it, it's really fun! I've created about 4 different movies for different things and I really enjoy it.
