check these out. 08 09 SP rookie threads patches are selling for so cheap! too cheap i think. why? this is a brand new product and the patches are selling this low it worries me, but i bought some of them not expecting to win them for this cheap! note these arent the exact ones i won, just examples. does anyone else think this is too cheap for patches? i mean this are some prices of regular gu!

hmm some sweet patches for that cheap? Could it be a sign that companies are putting too many patch/auto cards in their products.....i think that might be the case as well as it being the holiday season and people don't have time to bid right now :-)

i think so too, i have thought so for a long time. i still think lebron and mj and kobe autos wont be worth as much soon either, i just saw on here a kobe auto for 84.00 free shipping sold. i don t think its that people dont have time because thats what they are doing, buying christmas presents for their families on ebay. so i just thinmk therees too much of them in circulation, i will still like them anyway, they will just have to think of new stuff like game used bench seats, gu backboard, gu headband, and like insert certificates of won memprabilia like autographed basketballs, shoes and stuff, that would be cool.

to be honest, I am so disappointed with the release of so many Jordan autos/patches/gu...companies are running out of ideas now that they've basically covered every aspect of "bringing the game closer to the fans" ...I mean they've used shoes, shorts, warm-ups, floors, suits, laces, water...yes H20, jerseys, autos, inscriptions, plexiglass, stamps, postmarks, draft day ticket stubs for their products already. I'm not sure there is much left to desire for....maybe they can produce something along the lines of NBA Ref Swatches with the main ref being Tim Donaghy. I think that collectors are always in need of something new, and when ideas run out and autos of Legends become more common, there is not much left to satisfy a collectors needs

Yeah the market is saturated with GU/Auto's etc..... I like the ref idea though kind of fun.. maybe mascot patches too. =) I would like a patch of Benny the Bull's fur or something.

I really think they should cut production of so many "true" RC's. And make really rare inserts again... the kind that goes 1:720 and are really shiny...

They need more fun stuff like coach signatures (they do this occasionally), team photo cards, cards with the entire cheerleading squad of each team, etc. etc.

They really should slow production of Jordan autos... but that's not a bad thing for me who would like to pick some up . . . it's a good time to stock up now... because if he dies or stop signing forever, those autos will skyrocket...

Hmmm I guess time to pick up some patches.. =)

whalechaser I agree, esp with Benny the bull - he's the badass when it comes to the mascots :-D ...... they were even selling his mask (with fur and all) at the United Center a while back, selling like hotcakes
