Books
After selling my books from this semester back to the bookstore I have some money to start buying some for next semester.
Contemporay Management
Used from bookstore: $138
Got it for: $40, Ebay
Introductory Statistics
Used from bookstore: $112.50
Got it for: $58, Ebay
MKTG
Used from bookstore: $41.25
Got it for: $18, Ebay
Shayne and I have the same online class so we're only gettng one book and splitting the cost. In the bookstore its $99 used but we've got it for $19 on Ebay right now. Hopefully we get it for that.
I'm watching my other one right now but wont be able to actually buy it until January when I get school money. The bookstore has it for $135.75 used but I'll be able to get it for $80.50. I had to buy myself a new Christmas outfit too so I kind of ran out of moeny..lol.
Sooo I've spent $116 for those three books that would have cost me $291.25 at the bookstore.

Isn't it such a relief to be able to get textbooks for half what your campus bookstore is asking? Not to mention when you try to sell them back and they won't buy them. What a joke. My biggest pet peeve about being in school.

Yep. I still have my math book. They wouldnt take it back because they already had too many they said.
I'll either put it on Ebay or wait until first day of returning next semester and take it back.
Oh yeah!! I almost never buy anything that isnt on sale! lol I love saving on what I can when I can! :)

Yeah, I look thru ads to find the best deal possible - especially with the way the economy is, it's almost essential to save money now!

Another way of selling them back is finding someone that is taking the class and selling it to them exclusively. Maybe put a flyer up in the dorms or something.

For future reference, if you buy and sell your used textbooks on Amazon.com you can almost always recoup all the money you originally spent on the books.
