Morrow and Augustin have completely exceeded expectations.

Rose, Beasley, and Mayo though seem to be the top competitors for ROY. I do like Rose a lot but the Jason Kidd comparisons made by some stupid hype hungry scouts were extremely overblown. He's a fine passer but shouldn't even really be mentioned in the same breath as Kidd (just look at their rookie assist numbers; Kidd got 7.7 to Rose's 6.2 and played five less minutes per game!). I see Rose being a high-scoring combo guard with perhaps the closest comparison being Dwyane Wade (Rose's numbers so far are a little better than Wade's were in his rookie year).

im honestly not surprised by mayo, cuz. i think hes living up the expectations that were set for him. rose and beasley the same with beasley not quite up to par for me. george hill stepped up big time in the absence of tony parker. dj augustin has been playing very well. and correct me if im wrong, but isnt roger mason a rookie, cuz hes been playing pretty well. also, chalmers has i think done good for a second round pick. and finally, milwaukee bucks with the steal of the draft with luc richard mbah a moute. really been exceeding expectations.

Roger Mason is 28 and has been in the league on and off since 2002-03, when he was drafted by the Chicago Bulls. He's just getting notice now because he is with a better team and getting more time. I do remember him coming off the bench with the Wizards a year or two ago and wondering why he didn't get more time, but I have DirecTV and get to see all the mediocre and bad teams as well as the teams who play on cable all the time.

Yeah I dont understand why you guys are saying Mayo and Rose. They are the top picks, and should only live up to expectations. Luc Richard mbah a moute shut Zach Randolph down to 4 points last night
