Let me introduce myself!!!!

Whats up everyone? I just thought, I would get the intro out of the way, and share a few things about myself.

Im 31, and pretty much stopped collecting cards of any kind in 1994. The strike shortened season for MLB pretty much broke my heart, as I was a die hard fan, and collector.

Im from Oklahoma City, and have grown up a Die Hard Sooner Football fan, and would say that my personal memoribilia collection is very nice. I have a family member that has been an administrator in the Athletic Dept. for many years, and it has its perks. So, Ive spent alot of time around the University, and its players for some time. Lots and lots of game used/autograph memoribilia from the last 20-30 years. So, thats where my heart is. Well, that and building muscle cars.

Which brings me to my current obsession. My company purchased season tickets on the floor for the new Oklahoma City Thunder NBA team. So, I have been to all the games so far this season, and sitting in the first row...you really start to get a feel for these players personalities. Its great to see some of the NBA stars up close and personal. So, I have recently got back into card collecting. At first, I was just trying to buy singles, of some of the players. But, I have now got bitten by the bug, and am addicted to "opening" packs of cards. Its a bad addiction...but I love it. Its so good, to be back into this. I love to watch Kevin Durant play, but let me tell you this....Rookie Russell Westbrook is abesolutely SICK!!!!!! So, he is my main focus in collecting right now. The kid can flat out play. I know OJ Mayo, and Derrick Rose get all the press....but Im telling you......Westbrook is a flat out STUD!!! (But nobody gets to see it, because OKC, pretty much blows) But, Im still a big time fan!

Anyways..sorry for the long post...but Im happy to be here, and am hoping to score some nice Westbrook cards.
