Lake Speed Wantlist - 7 to go!

Hello all,

I am really hoping some of the new blood out there has some of these cards. I would very much like to put this collection to rest as it has dwindled to a mere seven cards and I need your help! I have tried to include as much info below as I can. If you can add any information it would be appreciated. Also, if you know of trading cards of Lake Speed not listed in Beckett - please let me know. I have only a half dozen or so not listed in there and would not be shocked to learn of the existence of more. Thanks in advance and happy trading!

1. 1992 Motorsports dieCards Number Unknown - This card was part of a factory set featuring Winston Cup hauler die cast. I can not remember what the sponsor on the hauler was - either TropArtic or Phillips 66.


2. 1994 Hi-Tech Brickyard 400 Brickyard Preview Proof 23 &
3. 1994 Hi-Tech Brickyard 400 Brickyard Preview Proof 30 - These cards were inserted into packs of the Hi Tech Brickyard 400 Race Review boxes at an average of one per box. The cards are a parallel to the cards from the Race Preview set. The front boasts the logo 'BRICKYARD PREVIEW PROOF 1 OF 200'. Card #23 features Lakes' #28 Texaco Havoline Ford on track, while card #30 features Lake in the cockpit of the #28 conferring with Larry McReynolds.


4. 1995 Upper Deck Gold Signature 83 &
5. 1995 Upper Deck Gold Signature 117 - These cards were inserted into packs of Series One of 1995 Upper Deck Racing at a rate of one per thirty-five packs. The cards copyright, however, reads 1994. These cards are a parallel to the Series One base set. The front boasts a facsimile autograph of Lake in gold foil. Card #83 features a side view of Lakes' #15 Quality Care Ford, while card #117 features a head on view of the car and is part of the 'Next in Line' subset.


6. 1996 Zenith Artist Proof 24 - These cards were inserted into packs of 1996 Zenith Racing - a Pinnacle brand - at a rate of one per twenty-fou packs. These cards are a parallel to the base set. The front boasts an upside down triangle with the words 'ARTIST'S PROOF' directly under the Pinnacle 1996 Zenith logo in the upper right.


7. 1998 Maxx 10th Anniversary Buy Back Autographs 46 - These cards were inserted into packs of 1998 Maxx 10th Anniversary at a rate of one per 288 packs. This is a certified autograph version of Lakes' 1988 Maxx rookie card #46. The back features the Upper Deck hologram seal, while the front has a handwritten serial number /169.
