What player would you start a team with?

I'm sure this topic has been created many, many times, but we are doing it again! :-)

Choose any current NBA player to start your team with - who would it be? Doesn't matter whether it's the most skilled, or your favorite - you can even choose one for each!

Pick your player and explain why you would choose him!

Dwight Howard. Power C/F and he is still young. Next would be one of these 5: D will, CP3, LBJ, D wade, or Roy.

well it wud be nice to build a franchise off of a player like lbj or kobe, but ive always believed a strong leader is a big advantage. that leader is either gonna be the one who runs the offense, or the person who is willing to take charge. to me, that person wud be either a pg or c. so for a pg, i wud have to pick cp3 to build my team off. if i planned to start with a big man, id go with dh12. now if i had to pick between one or the other which is the purpose, id go with cp3, becuz of the ability to score, get others to score, and play lock up defense. dh12 brings scoring, moster rebounding, and interior defense. tough choice, but i gotta go with cp3.

I would have to go with LeBron James b/c you gotta have someone willing to share the ball and trust your teammates. Plus he has great leadership skills.

I'd take Lebron or Kobe. I might lean towards Lebron a bit more because he is a good defensive player, and I can't say I have ever really heard of Kobe doing anything amazing on defense.

If I want to win, probably Lebron, even though I hate him you can't argue with how the cavs are doing.
