I'm not quite sure what to think. You just randomly acquire baseballs signed by Mantle, Ted Williams, Berra, etc.? You don't tell us where they came from or how you got them? Why should we believe you? I'd like to, but it seems very, very highly unlikely.

here is an explanation as to how these baseballs were aquired:
My grandma lived in boston when she was younger and her father had a friend who worked for the boston red sox. The baseballs were aquired through the man who worked for the red sox. When my grandma was a young child one of the red sox actually had dinner with her family at their house. It is not clear though specifically how the baseballs were aquired because no one who is still alive was actually there when they were given to my great grandfather.
I hope this explains it a little further.
(the baseballs were all aquired in the 1950's.)

I still don't fully believe it, but that does help. When saying that you have things with four figure values, the story behind how you got it is important. I'm not saying I don't believe it, it just seems unlikely.

i really don't know the full story behind the baseballs, all i know is that they are authentic. The yankees must have been playing the red sox at the time. What do you think the value of each baseball would be?
