Small-mart
this is rediculous...
i have been to 9 different Walmarts in the tri-state area.
None of them are carrying the Press Pass 09 Walmart exclusive boxes.
i talked to Les about it and he told me to call the District Manager.
i drove all the way to one guys office. I have talked to the District and Marketing managers for the whole area and have gotten no-where i went as far as to show them the reciepts of all the boxes i have previously bought at Walmart and other retail chains hoping that would sway them but nothing.
i can not get a definative answer as to why they will not stock the product.
i am going to shoot an email to every address i can find at their corporate location as well as to Press Pass.
looks like i am buying Diapers and Formula at Target from now on. and trust me we go through a ton of diapers. what fun is it going on that late night run for poop holders if you cant open any cards.
ok rant done..

If it matters, I buy poop holders and other baby supplies at Target and haven't seen a single racing blaster in stock since I came back to the hobby 6 weeks ago. Good luck getting Walmart to care though!

let me explain why,
in 2008 walmart returned thousands of blasters that did not sell, this is why so many 08 burning rubber retail tires were found in the starting grid blasters. so now walmart is either not stocking, not stocking as much, or using the pylons (which are the loose packs.)
i know it sucks, cause all we have found here were loose packs. target only had a couple boxes, so i am kinda screwed here as well.

Walmart around here has nothing either. Now Target on the other had had some pitstop boxes but again, no blasters. I can't even find those starting grid blasters.

I guess hobby stores will have to start getting retail as well as hobby!!!

We havent had nearly as many racing cards at any of the Walmarts around here. Usually they just get a few boxes at a time and if you dont get them right away then you dont get any. The day after Christmas we found 4 boxes at Target and one or two at Walmart...and bought them all. lol Usually they have 08 Speedway mostly.

Here locally it's kinda strange....we have 2 Wally Worlds in the county....the one in Attalla has only had loose packs....the one in East Gadsden had 2 boxes which I bought and loose packs....oddly enough E Gadsden still has VIP, WAT, and Speedway Blasters at 19.99 each. Never got any starting grid here that I saw. Starting Next week I will be in Birmingham 5 days a week for school which means the chance of a couple of Targets and several Wally Worlds.

The reason you didn't get anywhere with the district manager is that he's got 4-6 stores he distributes to and your just one customer. But if you were to get a petition of locals that would be willing to buy they'd maybe do something.
Like your gonna go through all that right..
I've got 5 Wal-marts and they all stock racing, 1 Target That doesn't and 2 K-Mart's that don't. The Local Fred's has those Blister Packs quite often.
We Used to have 3 Card Shops but they closed a few years back.
I'll tell ya' what....If you wanna pay for the cost + shipping I could pick you some up....Then sit back and watch you pull MY CARDS

A Good Question is.....Why is it you can't buy the Wal-Mart Exclusives at Wal-mart.com.
