Mine just happened about 5 months ago. I was awaiting the phone call of my father's passing due to brain cancer taking over. It was the longest and scariest 2 days of my life.

1. My dog, Tia, is old. She turned 13 on the 2nd. The bottom half of our house is the garage and the top is the house. Tia was going down the stairs and I heard a loud noise. I ran out there and she was laying down on the sidewalk shaking. I ran down the stairs to her.. her tongue was sticking out and she was shaking like uncontrollably. I started petting her and telling her it was ok. She got up and had a little trouble walking. I ran upstairs to call my mom. By that time I was crying. I went back down and carried her back up. I realized that she didn't fall down the stairs... she fell over the railing from almost the top! She was ok though. Now we carry her up and down the stairs. I thought she was dying. :(
2. Like Ash said.. when someone broke into my grandma and grandpa's house.
3. Tobie's seizures, like Ash said.
4. When my grandpa fell off a roof over a hill and shattered his arm.
5. When my grandpa's cancer came back in that arm and he had to have the arm removed.

Scariest moment for me was the first time I got a gun pulled on me.

First time? Is this something that happens often for you...?
And what did you do to get a gun pulled to you multiple times?

A few years back I was driving at night down a two lane road, I was about 6-7 car lengths behind the car in front of me when all of a sudden I noticed the rear tail lights disappear ... as I got closer I saw what had happened and it was not pretty. There was a bar about 3 minutes up the road from where I was and apparently someone had just left there and was driving down the wrong side of the road with no head lights on ... doing an estimated 60MPH. Well they obviously hit the car in front of me and the impact was so bad it caused all the lights to go off on those cars so to me it looked like the car just disappeared.
Scary part - The car in front of me was in such a hurry that they actually passed me about 2 minutes before this happened, if they hadn't passed me .... it probably would have been me in that wreck and the outcome wasn't good. Both the passenger and driver of that car that was hit were killed and the other driver was severly injured and had to be flown out in a helicopter.
edited to say: ... I actually did stop and try to help but there was nothing I could do, the cars were so mangled and crushed that all I could do was call 911 and be a witness. The erry part of it all, there was dead silence on what is usually a very busy road. Not one car came down that road from the time the accident happened until the time the helicopter left the scene. I knew right away that it would not be good for the people in the car that got hit because I could see no movement or hear no screams coming from the car. It was later realease the person that was drunk driving had a BAC of .34 ... the "legal" limit in Florida is .08!!!!!!!!!!
