    2009 Element

    Hey guys and gals,

    Once everyone busts their box(es) of 2009 Element, could you please make a nice, orderly post showing what you got out of your boxes. Also if possible, please provide a scan of the best card(s) you pulled. If you need help posting scans, PM anyone on the SCF Racing team and we will try to help.

    Please make sure to describe how you felt about this product such as the quality of cards, overall looks, pull ratios, etc., good or bad. Please post it and be completely honest.

    Ok, it's been a while since I've done this so I completely forgot about keeping my boxes separate so I'll post my scans and my inserts combined.

    I assume I pulled two complete base sets but I immediately stole all the rookies out of it as I was busting packs. The Jr. cards are listed odd because I also set them aside for a trade and was too lazy to get the numbers off of them, sorry!

    Lab Report - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 (plus Dale Jr.)
    Kinetic Energy - 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 (plus 2 diff Dale Jr.s)
    Nobel Prize - 1, 3x2, 5x2 (aaaand Dale Jr.)
    Missing Elements - 1, 2, 3, 6

    The hits:




    My overall opinion is this, I love these cards, but when I say this, I mean I love the base and inserts. The race used are ho hum. Maybe if I had pulled something a little nicer, it would change my opinion, but the flags are small and boring. I love pulling autos and the 09 Wheels autos are well designed. The Undiscovered Element autos are even sweeter. The Nobel Prize cards are my favorite inserts, they are just plain attractive. The Kinetic Energy and Lab Report cards are eye catching, and the Missing Elements are a great idea. The base though, this is going to sound weird, but I wanted to hoard them all and not trade a single one. Maybe it's because I missed out the last two years and I'm just over excited to be busting again, but these cards are clean and simple, and that hits my buttons in the right order.

    My buddy has good luck!

    At first I only got one box for myself and busted it and loved it. Had to get a second one, lol.

    My auto & r/u pulls were kind of plain, but still met the odds. I really liked the base & inserts however, I think it measured up pretty well to the hype. It would have been nice if you could have completed a base set from each box, but at least they were fairly close to completion.

    The only negative thing I can really say concerned some of the Nobel Prize cards that were pulled. They were damaged in the exact same manner for each of them. They will need to be replaced. Other then that, the balance of the cards were fine.

    A question... what the heck is the difference bewteen the checkered Flag ard and the Black & white flag card? Of course other the the obvious, the lower serial numbering of the checkered flag version. Only difference I really noticed was the division between the black & white pieces. On one (the one #/50) it divided top and bottom, the other (the one #'d of 5) it divides left to right. Did I miss the meeting in the hauler or something?

    One of the regular members in our case break has been a local friend of mine. He gets 1-2 boxes in each release and is very kind to me by giving me almost all of the cards from each of the boxes. This release was no exception. He pulled two great cards and has given them to me along with the rest. I just gotta share his luck, lol.

    YEP, that's card # 48/48!!! Sweet!

    My rating for this product would be a 4.0 based on the quality and condition of the cards (was lowered due to damages and the looks of the r/u cards). My rating on the pull ratios would be 5.0 as it meet the odds stated on the box.

    Overall rating for the Element is 4.5
