last i checked that wasn't the topic of this thread... Feel free to make your own thread about the Cubs WS drought. I wasn't talking about that what so ever. I was saying how the Yankees recent insane spending sprees haven't lead them to any titles, am I not correct? Once again, I dont see where I mentioned the Cubs, feel free to point that out to me though

Also NyFanCam- since you wanted to stray off topic, I feel I can do the same, why is it you never answered my question in the Politics and Religion forum? I asked a simple question and you failed to answer it twice

    JUST SO YOU KNOW
the cubs are my 2nd favorite team, they are my NL team... but i cant sit back and let someone talk about my yankees

and i have no idea what your talking about, nor do i care.

Other teams like the Cubs have a lot more money than they're spending. Everyone gets on the Yankees case because they spend their money.

Agree with the standings except I think the Rays will finish second.

The top three can finish in pretty much any order with the Yanks, Sox, and Rays all having very strong teams. I predict RedSox 1st and Yankees WC with the Rays just missing out. The Jays will probably come 4th but they can play as big spoilers. Even with the loss of Burnett and Marcum, and McGowan for the first month or so, we have a strong pen and I think our rotation can still do alright, especially once McGowan returns.

The Cubs do not have a lot more money than they are spending, the team is being sold, and can't add salary to drive away new potential owners
