Rice finally makes it into HOF

I still think he didn't deserve it, but at this point, with what the veteran's committee has done, it's hard to really care about it.

WOO-HOO anybody wanna buy a Jim Rice autographed card.Just kidding but having seen him play in person I think he deserves it.There are a few others with comparable stats that have made it so I'm happy for him.

Rickey Henderson, who is the best lead-off hitter of all-time is a Hall of Famer. This is a no-brainer. There is no doubt that he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. He was elected with 94.8% of the votes.

It was only a matter of time before Rickey got in. It is also very nice to see that Jim Rice got in. Rickey Henderson caused hell on the base lines in many games, so it's about time he gets his credit.

What I never understood is Why give them 15 years on the ballot?
Why wasent he Good enough for the Hall of fame in Year 1, 2, 3, 4, etc...it took 15 years of him being on the ballot to Be Voted in.

I personally dont think he is a HOFer, I cant picture this:

I think he deserves to get in. Hes a career .298 hitter, 382 HR, 1451 RBI, 1249 Runs scored and two time silver slugger award winner. He also won an MVP was an 8x all star and led the leauge 3x in slugging percentage, and was a decent fielder. He had 21 outfield assists in 1983 the most by a Red Sox since 1944 when Bob Johnson had 23. His career fielding percentage is .980 and 137 outfield assists compared to Ted Williams .974 and 140 assists. Im not comparing him to Williams but I feel this induction was well deserved.
