I don't know for sure, but I'd guess it depends on the reason for the intake of water. It could be for more than purely a hydration function.

I remember that. It was called "Hold your Wee For A Wii" and they had to drink tons of water without having to use the restroom. To make a long story short, the lady drank like two gallons of water in a short period of time and died of water intoxication. So yeah, it can happen.
Sad part of the story is she's a wife and a mother of three kids, trying to win the Wii for her children. There is a lawsuit against the radio company now.

I usually drink about 1 to 2 bottles a day, mostly just sitting at my desk at work. When I am at home I don't drink much water.

I have off January there, but I work at Moselem Springs Golf Club in Fleetwood, PA. It is an all-private course. Costs $105 to play there if you are accompanied by a member.

I drink just about 2 liters of water a day.
+ I drink whatever else I feel like. Usually some sort of fruit juice or vitamin water type drink. I haven't had more than 1 soda a month in about....eh 4 years?
