    The Mets miss out on another player. Derek Lowe was the best free agent pitcher left on the market in my opinion. He puts up consistent numbers and he stays healthy.

    the mets did screw up again with this one. i don't think lowe is going to benefit much in atlanta. he's a good pitcher, but the braves aren't looking to good these days.
