Tracy this year has been disappointing.
He does not have an injury. Period. He just hurts. That could have been avoided if he rehabbed hard and properly this offseason after his surgery. *Note his surgery is not ACL or Microfracture. It is the same surgery that Matt Schuab had and Kobe had. Matt came back in 4 weeks. Kobe had it 4 months after Tracy did (May) and didn't have training camp to train... but he came back way earlier than right now.
And supposedly... there are many people in the management and training staff of the Rockets that are upset.
Artest in the other hand, has real injuries. He has two torn ligaments on one ankle.

I read he is out for 7-10 days or games, I can't remember which.

I am guessing they had arthroscopic surgery, which is what McGrady had according to this article:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3384799
This article, a few months later, says he has an arthritic shoulder which will require surgery after this season:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/s...e=NBAHeadlines
It's weird how someone not even 30 could have arthritis anywhere.
Anyway, he does have "real" injuries, just not serious injuries. There is no other explanation for his drastic dropoff in production this season. It's not like he's old.
